EP 05 OVERCOMING PROFESSIONAL PARADIGMS: Discovering Our True Self through Tarot | Jan Courti

Jan Courtin has had a deep passion for reading tarot for many years. During the lockdown, Jan
expanded her expertise by studying under Richard Knight, a world-renowned tarot reader.
From a young age, Jan was influenced by their father, who shared stories of encountering spirits and
communicating with them as if it were as normal as conversing with a bird on the windowsill. With a
background that includes French, Irish, and Algonquin Native Canadian heritage, her father’s
spiritual experiences opened her mind and heart to the unseen realm.
In addition to tarot, Jan practices transformational coaching, which complements her tarot work
perfectly.

After transitioning from a career in education as a superintendent for a large Canadian school
board, where coaching principals and vice principals was a gratifying aspect of the role, Jan found
that her background in facilitation and coaching naturally aligned with transformational coaching.
This experience has seamlessly integrated with her tarot practice, enriching her work and helping
clients achieve personal growth.
